Investment in BPG Juice and Merger with Asian Citrus – January 2010
Genius Link Group and its affiliates led the investment in BPG juice for an aggregate investment of about USD 31 million in January 2010 and subsequent merger with Asian Citrus in August 2010 for USD323 million, which was awarded “Best Mid-Sized Exit of the Year” by PEI in 2010.
BPG Juice was the largest tropical juice processor in China and Asian Citrus was the largest non-state-owned orange plantation owner and operator, and leading producer and exporter of fresh orange in China.
